A drone struck the LNG floating storage vessel Energos Winter at Damietta on 29 July, igniting a blaze
that spread to the carrier Gaslog Salem; crews fought it for twelve hours. No group has claimed it.
So what: energy and port sites outside conflict zones remain a live target. Confirm
detection coverage extends to moored vessels, not only perimeter fencing.
